AUCOOT ROAD
This summer residence was created to integrate the owners’ love of Nantucket-style architecture with modern design. Subtle grading of the site and exterior decks/porches were designed to mitigate the height requirements of the coastal flood zone and extend the feeling of the interior spaces. The first floor design has an open floor plan with significant east facing windows to highlight the views of Buzzards Bay. Upstairs, the floor plan was designed with four equal bedroom/bathroom suites to accommodate four adult children. Interior highlights of the design include clean lines, quality millwork, and modern detailing.
