Planting Island Views

We transformed the exterior of this waterfront home in Marion by reworking the raised ranch rooflines into a more contemporary coastal aesthetic. Altering the roof lines and the window and door configuration throughout the home improved the exterior appearance while maximizing the 280-degree water views. On the beach side, we added a second-floor primary suite with a sundeck and an exterior deck below. The effect is like being on a cruise ship, high above the water enjoying the view of the beach below. We relocated the entry stair inside to enhance the kitchen/great room space, widening the view angle. The kitchen design takes advantage of the full view and opens onto a lovely deck for alfresco dining. The view from the interior says it all!
